1960년대 중후반을 풍미하였던 수많은 사이키/개러지 록 밴드중에서도 항상 먼저 언급되는 그룹중 하나인 4인조 밴드 Standells. Tower(Capitol) 레코드를 통해 1966년에 발표하였던 앨범 [The Hot Ones!]와 67년 앨범 [Try It]의 합본 CD가 Big Beat 레이블을 통해 발매되었다. 미국 전역에서 큰 인기를 얻을 수 있었던 결정적 계기가 된 곡 “Dirty Water"와 ”19th Nervous Breakdown"를 모두 수록하고 있으며 모두 오리지널 마스터를 통해 새롭게 리마스터링되었다.
