프랑스를 대표하는 파리의 최고급 레스토랑 막심은 1981년 최정상의 디자이너 피에르 까르뎅에 의해 인수된 후 더욱 큰 명성을 쌓아가고 있다.

이 곳에서 금요일 밤마다 열리는 파티에는 유럽의 왕족과 유명 연예인들이 참석하는 것으로 유명하다.

2002년 발매된 본 앨범은 막심의 파티 음악을 담고 있다. 상주 DJ인 알베르 드 파남과펠릭스에 의해 소개되는 라틴, 일렉트로닉, 테크노가 절묘하게 조화된 음악은 라운지 파티 음악의 진면모를 보여준다.
