Piatigorsky, a frequent partner of Heifetz, was one of the greatest cellists of the 20th century. His passionate Living Stereo recording of Dvorak뭩 masterpiece is paired with the Walton, the first recording of a modern masterwork which he premiered, and which the composer dedicated to him.

These are original two-track and three-track recordings. In multichannel SACD, the music will be heard only from the front left and right channels (in the case of two-track) and from the front left, center and right channels (in the case of three-track).
