프롬나드 콘서트의 마지막 밤은 범세계적인 음악 이벤트이다.

특히 2000년은 13년간 BBC 심포니의 수장을 맡았던 앤드류 데이비스 경의 고별무대라는 점에서 보다 뜻 깊은 행사가 되었다.
