로사로 이적한 이후 활발하게 오페라 레코딩을 선보이고 있는 파비오 비온디와 에우로파 갈란테의 헨델 <이메네오>!
헨델의 후기 오페라 중 한 곡인 <이메네오>는 그다지 많이 무대에 올라오지 않는 작품이고 음반도 드문 편이지만, 아담한 규모에 매력적인 음악이 가득한 뛰어난 오페라다. 비온디는 헨델이 1742년 더블린에서 세레나데 형식으로 공연했던 버전을 선보이며, <이메네오>에 담긴 갈랑트 풍의 분위기를 섬세하게 살려내는 혜안을 보여준다.
안 할렌베르크, 모니카 피치니니 등 정상급 바로크 가수들의 노련한 앙상블도 훌륭하다.
